Habit 1 – Be Proactive:
Decide from within, based upon your values and long held principles.

Habit 2 – Begin with the end in mind:
Develop a personal mission and create a vision of your life in advance.

Habit 3 – Put first things first:
Focus on doing what is important and spend less time on time wasters or “fire fighting”.

Habit 4 – Think Win/Win:
Seek agreements that are mutually beneficial. If win/win is not possible, seek a “no deal” option.

Habit 5 – Seek first to understand, then to be understood:
Put yourself in the perspective of the other person, listening empathetically for both meaning & emotion.

Habit 6 – Synergize:
Through trust and mutual understanding, you can find a better solution than through a single-minded approach.

Habit 7 – Sharpen the saw:
Working without renewal will lead to dull results and potential “burn out”. Regularly renew yourself physically, spiritually and emotionally.
